14TH - 17TH FEBRUARY, 2020

It will be an interactive 4-day theory and practical workshop where participants would engage to work on the aesthetic and process behind making a project.

The process to learn the skills necessary to capture a photograph that draws the attention of the viewer for a spell longer than that one takes to decide what he wants to eat at a restaurant is going to take 4 days. To master them, may however take a lifetime.

Day 1: The participants would have an interactive session with Bose, whereby they discuss their approach to photography. The first day would be well spent where Soumya Sankar Bose gets to know the individuals and the nuances they insist on each photo they capture must contain. They would get an opportunity to share with Bose a project they wish to shoot and this would necessarily be the pivot of this workshop.

Day 2 and 3: The participants are to be divided into two equal groups. One group gets the entire day to shoot what they wish to. The other group has to stay back for one-on-one interaction with Bose. The interaction would last for about 30 minutes. The same process is to be repeated the following day with the other group.

Day 4: The workshop culminates here. The participants produce their photos in front of the master which are then edited.
